An estimated 2,500 women live on the streets in Berlin. Experience of violence often plays a role for women affected by homelessness. Either this led them to homelessness or they had to suffer it later. Unterschlupf e.V. offers homeless women in Berlin Kreuzberg a contact point where they can receive support, advice and care in various areas. At Unterschlupf e.V. there is a healthy, freshly cooked, warm meal every day. Fresh fruit, drinks and a take-away lunch box are available all day. Unterschlupf e.V. offers naturopathic health advice with the support of trained alternative practitioners. Unterschlupf e.V. supports you in filling out applications, offers help in dealing with authorities and offices and helps with finding accommodation and apartments. Unterschlupf e.V. is largely financed by private donations.
